Applications are invited on the prescribed format at Annexure "A" to this advertisement notice from eligible candidates for engagement of Guest faculty in the following Trades for the Aca-demic Session 2023-24 at ITI Srinagar (both Campus 1 and Campus 2).
The Name of Post, No. Of Vacancies, Prescribed Qualification for the Guest faculty is shown against each Below:
1. Electrician on Self-Finance:
No. Of Vacancies; one Post
Prescribed Qualification;
B.Voc/Degreein Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Communication Engineering from AICTE /UGC recognized Engineering College/university with one-year experience in the relevant field.
OR
03 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Communication Engineering from recognized board of technical education or relevant advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years of experience in the relevant field.
OR
NTC/NAC passed in Electrican tade with 3 years'expenience in relevant feld. Essential Qualification: Relevant National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in any of the variants under DGT.
2. Plumber on Self-Finance:
No. Of Vacancies; One Post
Prescribed Qualification;
B.Voc/Degree in Civil/ Mechanical engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized Engineering College/university with one year experience in the relevant field
OR
03 years Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical engineering from recognized board of technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two years' experience in the relevant field.
OR
NTC/ NAC passed in Plumber trade with 3 years' experience in the relevant field. Essential Qualification: Relevant National Craft Instructor Certificate
3. Turner/ Machinist on Normal Basis:

Prescribed Qualification;
B.Voc/Degree in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognised Engineering College/university with one year experience in the relevant field.
OR
03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE/recognized board of technical education or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with two-year experience in the relevant field.
OR
NTC/NAC passed in the Trade of "Machinist"/ "Turner" with three years experience in the relevant field.
4. Stenographer Secreterial Assistant(English):

Prescribed Qualification;
BVoc/Degree in Commerce/ Arts (with Short hand & Typing) from UGC recognized university with one-year experience in the relevant field.
OR
Diploma (Minimum 2 years) in Commercial Practice from recognised Board or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) with two years' experience in the relevant field
OR
NTC/ NAC passed in Stenography and Secretarial Assistant (English trade with 3 years' experience in relevant field. Essential Qualification: Relevant National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in any of the variants under DGT
5. Wood Carving Skills on Heritage Craft Course:

Prescribed Qualification;
10th and above with three years Diploma in Wood Technology.
Terms and Conditions:
- The selectee will be paid as per rules during the engagement period.
- The assignment shall be purely on temporary basis till the end of the academic session i.e. July/ August 2024.
- The candidates shall have no right to continue in any capacity beyond the period of assignment for which the selected candidate shall furnish an affidavit duly attested by first class magistrate on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20. The candidate will also give an undertaking that He/ She has accepted terms and conditions and shall have no preferential claim for his /her continuation/reassignment /appointment by the department on the basis of this temporary assignment.
