b) Out of total vacancies, 46 positions are reserved for SC and 58 positions for ST.

Hindustan Scouts & Guides invites online applications from eligible candidates for participation in the selection process for District and Block level posts shown in this Notification.
The detailed terms and conditions with regard to eligibility, educational qualification, etc are as follows:-
(1) Appointment of the candidates: -
i. The Appointment and other service conditions in respect of the candidate selected through this selection process, shall be governed by the provisions of the HSG Jammu & Kashmir Committee.
(2) Vacancies: -
HSG J&K invites applications from all male and female candidates for the position of DOC (Scout/ Guide), Asst. DOC (Scout/ Guide), ScoutMaster/ Guide Captain, Asst. Scout Master/ Asst. Guide Captain in all districts and blocks of Jammu & Kashmir. However, the number of posts can undergo increase or decrease without any notice before the completion of the selection process, if so communicated by the concerned Department.
(3) Age limit: - (as on 01-01-2022)
The requirement of age for DOC & Asst. DOC: 40 years and not born before 01-01-1982 and not born after 01-01-1997. The requirement of age for Scout Master/ Guide Captain, Asst. Scout Master/Asst. Guide Captain: 35 years and not born before 01-01-1987 and not born after 01-01-2002.
(4) Qualification Required: -
(I) The candidates who are declared qualified by the Board for DocumentVerification will be required to produce relevant Certificates such as Marksheets, Provisional Certificates, etc. for completion of the Graduation Degree in original as proof of having acquired the prescribed educational qualification on or before the cutoff date fixed for filling online application form, failing which the candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled by the Board.
(II) Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of their documents relating to educational qualification is verified by the Appointing Authority.
(III) Any candidate having his/her qualification other than as prescribed, shall not be eligible for posts advertised in this notification.
(5) Application Fee:-
(I) Fee payable: Rs.450/-(Rupees Four Hundred and Fifty only) for all categories.
(II) Fee can be paid only online through Credit/ Debit cards or UPI.
(III) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
(IV) Application fee gets paid to the test conducting agency of the examination.
